Why do we even have a Constitution? Has anyone asked a Democrat that lately?

The general mode of operation with them in power has been to have a great, transformative idea no one in the country but them wants, sidestep every legal and constitutional avenue for implementing – or against – said great idea, wave a magic departmental edict wand and voilà! Make it so. As if that’s all it took and that squawking in the background is just so much peasant babble to be ignored. One mollifies the outraged cretins with assurances that you most certainly are not doing what they’re accusing you of doing, even as you are, in fact, doing that very thing.

Such little white lies in the interest of the common good and for the betterment of man are noble.

“No one is coming for your gas stove!” Oh, we’ve all written about that whopper, with David being the latest to weigh in on just what a crock of poo it is, complete with how their war on our energy resources has been slickly turned into a “right wing cause in culture wars.” Oh, yes – because only knuckle dragging MAGA-types want to keep the affordable, accessible, reliable heat and light we still have. Those people are so unreasonable WHILE THE EARTH IS DYING IN FRONT OF OUR VERY EYES!

The Left never, ever hesitates to begin vilifying dissent and objections to their proposed strictures from the moment of their unveiling as “right wing extremism” or “MAGA MAGA MAGA” in a frenzied effort to shout down, demean and defang opposition.

They can’t handle a reasoned discussion or brook argument. Tyrants and fascists, by their very nature, never can.

This is who we’re dealing with now.

This morning, in a move they’ve been signaling for a while, they stepped beyond your gas stove. They are shooting for the whole enchilada.

Most every power plant in the US is Natural Gas or Coal. EPA is gonna try to shut them down.
Still looking for the part of the constitution that grants the EPA authority to remake the country. Government Agencies should not be able to do this.

By executive fiat, they are taking aim at the source of the electricity that lights your house, maybe heats it as well. The EPA, frustrated as the pace of the adoption of solar, wind, EVs and whatever other unicorn-ish fart schemes are floating out in the ether doesn’t match their fever dreams, wants to cut the knees out from under electrical power plants run by natural gas and coal.

The EPA completely banning coal powerplants in 8 years. They just get to write a 700 page law transforming the energy grid. No voting necessary.

To wit, they’ve come up with an end run around an outright ban.

The Biden administration is announcing a climate rule that would require most fossil fuel power plants to slash their greenhouse gas pollution 90 percent between 2035 and 2040 — or shut down.

The highly anticipated regulation being unveiled Thursday morning is just the latest step in President Joe Biden’s campaign to green the U.S. economy, an effort that has brought a counterattack from Republicans and coal-state Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin. That’s on top of efforts by Biden’s agencies to promote the use of electric cars, subsidize green energy sources like solar and wind and tighten regulations on products including gas stoves and dishwashers.

The draft power plant rule from the Environmental Protection Agency would break new ground by requiring steep pollution cuts from plants burning coal or natural gas, which together provide the lion’s share of the nation’s electricity. To justify the size of those cuts, the agency says fossil fuel plants could capture their greenhouse gas emissions before they hit the atmosphere — a long-debated technology that no power plant in the U.S. uses now.

Here we go again, shoving a “long debated” (read: untested/unreliable), uber expensivo technology that NO ONE USES down industry’s throat to force a change they can’t dictate outright because they…what’s that phrase…have no authority constitutionally to do so (Ah, that’s it.). The EPA wants to make it so expensive with these insane pollution standards and capture rules under arbitrary deadlines for any nat gas or coal plant to stay operational, they’re forced to shut down eventually regardless by virtue of economics.

Oh, WIN-WIN for the Greens! Faux clean hands – “Not our fault you couldn’t hack it” – and more shuttered fossil fuel power plants.

None of this is random – it’s all part of the plan to subjugate the American people…

But make no mistake about it, Biden’s goal is to drastically curtail the power available to us and eliminate personal vehicles altogether. Unless this is stopped we will leave our children a dark, cold and diminished America—for no good reason.

As the WEF laid out quite clearly this winter, and the Biden adminstration is doing their damnedest to drive us like cattle towards, the state will be your master, you will eat the bugs and the only remnants of a “constitution” one stumbles across may be a fond memory in an old man’s rambling stories or a picture of a tall ship in a harbor.

The court cases against this are going to be epic and, once again, you will see why the Left is so desperate to delegitimize the Roberts court at any cost, with any ludicrous accusation thrown against the marble walls that will stick. As long as those justices sit in the building, we still have half a prayer of maintaining our God given rights and freedoms. Gruesome as the thought is, that is also why Merrick Garland will not protect them.
