Matt Gaetz inadvertently caused a minor nuclear explosion here in the Redneck Riviera this weekend – so minor, it made no waves locally, but wound up in Newsweek, with himself as the villain in the melodrama, as you’d expect. This past Saturday, his Twitter/Facebook account posted these two comparative, side-by-side campaign pictures, much like any other campaigns do on any given day. One is a packed room, campaign signs waving, smiles. The other is a booth, empty except for the top of a head showing, drooped behind a table at a some sort of health expo. Oozes excitement.

Obviously, a Gaetz staffer or supporter captured the scene while they were attending the health expo, because, devil incarnate or no, Gaetz has yet to be able to manifest at two different locations at once. Laws of physics, etc., etc.
It turns out, the head belongs to a 12-year-old, who, in turn, belongs to Gaetz’s congressional opponent Rebekah Jones, and she lit off like a demented bottle rocket. Instead of contacting the Gaetz campaign to register a complaint, and perhaps find out that whoever took the picture only saw the mop of hair? Had no idea it was a child? Was paying no real attention to persons, just the lack of bodies, period? All of the above? Like, normal things that happen? Oh, no. Civilized behavior is not a contact sport, ergo Ms. Jones does not play.
Followed by a QUICK campaign website link for fund-raising with even more lurid descriptive language (AY YI YI)…
I took my teenage, autistic son with me to the Health Expo in Fort Walton Beach today.
I let him “man the booth” while I spoke to voters.
My son struggles with being in public and what we might consider “normal” social interactions, but he did great today, even taking over for a few minutes while I wasn’t there.
That’s when Matt Gaetz had someone wait until he was alone to take a photo of him – which Matt Gaetz posted on his Facebook page, mocking my son for being there alone, with his head down.
Sexual predators like Matt Gaetz openly mocking the teenage child of his opponent, falsely claiming this was a “Jones event,” and exploiting a disabled kid shouldn’t be a surprise.
After all, my son is about the same age as another boy that Matt Gaetz forced to live with him for years as his live-in underage boyfriend…
…DONATE NOW TO SEND THIS PREDATOR PACKING
…with an unquestioning Newsweek story up this morning, once again making sure to hammer Gaetz for accusation and innuendo, and slide blithely by the charges Rebekah Jones is actually facing trial for.
Rebekah Jones is currently out on bail because she sent revenge porn to her stalking victim's parents and employer.

Would this be enough vitriol and aspersions cast to satisfy the most outraged of mother bears? Oh – oh, yes. But not Ms. Jones.
She can’t let a TikTok opportunity slide for just a little more Rebekah airtime, and this was such a moment. I’ll use the words of a commenter a couple of posts ago, who, after watching another video of hers (and this one beats it for inherent malice) said, “That video has bunny boiler written all over it.”

Oh. Dear.
In a comedic aside, apparently, Ms. Jones is chuffed she’s being dinged for her…colorful…language. She’s thinking about reaching out to someone whom she thinks needs to watch theirs. Should be fun.
I hope he doesn’t torque her off.
Just answer the question, ma’am. When was the last time you SAW THE RABBIT ALIVE?
But in one of life’s little twists and turns – when you least expect it, all that macho mom energy could blow up in your face. It’s very much starting to look as if Matt Gaetz was set up. The victim, as it were, of some silky shenanigans. A sharp-eyed Twitter user who goes by the name of “Dan” noticed something awfully peculiar. For starters, the picture of the lad in question never originated with a Gaetz supporter, or “fixer,” as Jones claimed AT ALL.
Jones is now saying that Gaetz's "fixer mocked [her] son for "low energy"" (HER quote)… NO evidence of anyone saying "low energy", so who is she quoting? pic.twitter.com/BXIQAhB2sd

In point of fact, it was taken by a fellow named Larry Hetu, Grassroots Coordinator/Consultant for the Listener Group. Why is that pertinent? Rebekah Jones has been paying the Listener Group as CAMPAIGN CONSULTANTS. The “fixer” is hers.
Hetu posted the picture to his Facebook page…and lickedy SPLIT…
So Jones got the screenshot of Larry Hetu's photo 5 minutes after he posted it.
How long after that was it sent to Gaetz?
This whole thing smells.
Rebekah Jones needs to PROVE she did not coordinate sending the photograph to Gaetz, who took the bait.

…she’s raising money off of WE MUST STOP MATT GAETZ FROM STALKING AUTISTIC CHILDREN. Also nicely timed to go with a treacly Vimeo video she’s just dropped about the struggles raising said child (which I won’t embed here, and subject you all to).
Don’t think for 2 seconds this wasn’t all coordinated to drop at the same time to showcase her heroic struggles as the mother of a special needs child, take the heat off her upcoming trial, her unsettling videos, and her own stalking charges that have yet to be adjudicated. Oh, golly! Getting Gaetz to bonus bite on the “lo energy” photo just means more outrage money in the bank!
