The most interesting news from this month’s survey is in the consensus category, so be sure to get that far into the post.

That said, your first choice leader is once again Ted Cruz, followed by Scott Walker, Rick Perry, Marco Rubio and Carly Fiorina. Over 1800 votes were cast.

Your second choice leader? Scott Walker, followed by Rick Perry, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Carly Fiorina.

Your consensus choice leader? Scott Walker again, followed by Ted Cruz, Rick Perry, Carly Fiorina, Bobby Jindal and Marco Rubio. After Rubio, there is a 20 point drop off, making everyone named above what I would consider the “first tier” of the Hot Air survey at this point.

Most of the consensus results have remained steady over time, with one major exception: Carly Fiorina. In January Fiorina was in the basement at 19% of the consensus vote. In June, she’s in fourth place and approaching 70%. Rubio’s star has also risen, gaining almost 25 points since the start of the year.
