So what do you think of when someone says "Saint Paul?"
Probably...not much. Home of "Peanuts" creator Charles Schultz? If you're like a lot of people, you may think it's a neighborhood or suburb of Minneapolis. "Mitch lives in Saint Paul, David Strom is in Minneapolis" is a little obscure.
How about "Saint Paul's scandals are dumber and funnier?"

Saint Paul Mayor Kaohly Her, the city's first Hmong mayor, is facing sexual harassment allegations.

“Chief Henry has reached this decision to step forward as a formal complainant against the Mayor after becoming aware that the Mayor’s conduct has extended beyond isolated incidents and has included sexual harassment of subordinate City employees, including members of the Saint Paul Police Department,” Madel wrote.
The letter says Henry believes filing the complaint will help protect employees from retaliation and encourage accountability.
“Recognizing both the seriousness of that misconduct and the vulnerability of those directly affected, he is concerned that, absent a formal complaint, the behavior will continue unchecked and may expose others to retaliation for speaking out,” the letter states.

The redaction covers the superimposed face of one of the Saint Paul cops on the mayor's security detail.

Allegations confirmed by KARE 11's Lou Raguse include:
- Unwanted physical contact and sexualized communication from Mayor Her to Police Chief Axel Henry
- Commenting on the breasts of a female deputy chief in a locker room then asking that woman her thoughts on Mayor Her's breasts
- Mayor Her making "sex noises," pantomiming an orgasm while stretching in front of police officers at the department's weight room.
- Sending a meme to a police officer with his face photoshopped onto it referencing "wienering," a sex slang.

Mayor Her, a former state legislator who defeated incumbent mayor Melvin Carter in 2025, isn't a stranger to petty, weird, borderline satiric controversy:
A Ramsey County court referee on Tuesday denied a harassment restraining order petition filed against St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her following a hearing.
According to the petition obtained by Alpha News, Shirly Yang alleged a months-long pattern of harassment, intimidation and misuse of influence that escalated after she attempted to set personal boundaries with the former state representative, now St. Paul’s mayor.
Yang alleged Her engaged in persistent and unwanted communications, disclosed private personal information, made threats tied to employment and legal matters, and interfered in her professional life. Yang had sought a court order barring Her from contacting her or her children and restricting further interaction.
The filing states the two women were acquaintances who interacted socially and professionally. Yang alleged the relationship deteriorated in the spring of 2025 after Her set Yang up on a date with Rep. Ethan Cha, DFL-Woodbury.
Given Minnesota's recent history, I suspect this will fully qualify Her to run for Senate.
