What? You don’t think this news is pressing? Look, it’s been a long day, you’ve watched the big let-down, and now you can watch this to take a mental load off for a moment. Also, I was in car wreck a couple hours ago, it took me forever to get home without a car, and now I’m feeling a little drained for political analysis, so allow me this fowl indulgence. You see what I did there? I have a long post almost ready, but it requires some more fact-checking, so I’ll save it for tomorrow.

In the meantime, I feel as though I may have missed my calling by not doing this myself.

It’s magnificent, and it harkens back to a true, but often overlooked, golden age of cartoon theme songs. “DuckTales,” “Tailspin,” “Animaniacs,” and my personal favorite, “Darkwing Duck” are all fantastic. Do Saturday morning cartoons even have musical theme songs anymore? I can imagine them all being EDM (electronic dance music) and trippy Cartoon Network and Caillou-y. Are cartoons even on on Saturday mornings anymore? Or, afterschool? I suppose kids are all ordering “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” on demand at their whim in August. What a life! But they don’t have this. Enjoy.
