As for me, I’ve been prepared to be underwhelmed on both nights, just because it’s a big venue with huge expectations, and taking on that stage talking politics is just a tough job. On both nights, the main speakers have surpassed my expectations. I’ve been surprised just how much skill the GOP has in its bullpen.
