All right folks, looks like the fun (ha!) is over for the night. Thanks for keeping me company on this march to Mount Doom. Now, where did I put that ring, anyway?
Thanks for all your great comments, too! And if you still haven't joined up yet, please help us defend liberty and common sense from the Comrade Kamala brigade.

Trump also says that he doesn't know what RFK will do tomorrow. I ... will treat that skeptically.
Trump says that Brian Kemp is "a very good man" and now he's looking forward to working with him in Georgia. That tune has changed today.
What's going on in the hall?
Trump says he's ready to debate anywhere any time.
Trump is focusing on issues and policies so far and not getting into personal attacks, unless you count the Marxist label, which isn't exactly a personal issue.
"She's a Marxist," Trump says. "She always was, she always will be."
It came in at 37 minutes.
Trump's on the phone now. "Why didn't she do the things she's complaining about?" he asks. "She could have done all of these things now."
Switching over to Fox to see if they'll have Trump's speech live. I usually watch these on C-SPAN to avoid commentary until it's over.
I timed this at 40 minutes or so ... I think that's close.
First impressions: Good delivery of a weak speech. No specifics as to what she will do as president. She talked more about Trump's agenda (and got that wrong) than any of her own initiatives. Spent too much time on her "personal story," and not on our business.
I think she's wrapping up.
Adam texts to note that their featured speaker is running past 11 pm ET again, but tonight at least they got most of it in before the end of prime time.
Biden cozied up to the Iranians. She could look it up.
Harris gets stronger on Hamas than I think she's ever been in public. Still calling for a cease-fire, but I think this won't mollify the Dearborn faction.
Wasn't it Biden who said publicly that a limited incursion into Ukraine by Russia wouldn't get a reaction? [edited]
Biden didn't need that law to secure the border. They used the border crisis as leverage to get Republicans to retreat from even better policies. It backfired on them, and Biden had to go back to enforcing the existing laws this spring.
I'm telling you right now that the definition of freedom being used here is a stalking horse for authoritarianism. Matt Taibbi wrote a great essay on it this week, and Taibbi is no conservative.
One must ask why Harris still isn't talking about her agenda, other than abortion?
The Supreme Court is and will always be a potent rallying issue for both parties.
National sales tax? Is she talking about the Fair Tax? The last time I heard a GOP candidate talk about that was over a decade ago.
She is delivering a substance-free speech pretty effectively, but it's still substance free.
Again with "charting a new way forward," but not even a peek at the charts.
Look, I have no trouble attacking your opponent in a speech, but Harris has yet to issue a single syllable about what she would do as president. Now she's attacking Project 2025, which isn't Trump's agenda anyway, but she hasn't given a hint about her own agenda. Why is that?
Remind me which administration is prosecuting its political opponent again?
Interesting ...
Hatchet buried.

What did she do as Vice President?
Chart a new way forward means actually producing a chart at some point.
Every DA charges crimes in the name of the people. That's SOP in criminal justice.
