Donald Trump and President Biden used social media posts to troll each other about the total solar eclipse on Monday. Along the way, Sleepy Joe got an assist from Hillary Clinton and other fellow travelers on the left. 

Remember in 2017 when Trump looked up at the solar eclipse as he stood on the White House balcony? He wasn't wearing the special glasses everyone should wear as eye protection. The left lost their minds and their cohorts in the media dutifully played along. 

On Monday, Joe Biden trolled Trump and stood on the balcony, doing his version of looking at the eclipse though the eclipse was not there  Biden took time out of his very busy and robust schedule to tape a skit.

Not long after that was posted, a video of Biden boarding the short stairs on Air Force One appeared. He almost took a spill but caught himself in time.

That's called karma, Joe.

Meanwhile, Team Trump was not to be upstaged. Trump released a response on Truth Social.

Which one is better? I go with Trump's. Some effort was put into it. He's an entertainer and knows his audience. Biden is a feeble old man who goes and stands on the White House balcony when someone tells him to do that.

That didn't stop Hillary Clinton from entering the fray. She can't sit anything out.

Trump's ad on Truth Social went up on Sunday. Joe Biden's post didn't go up until after 10:00 a.m. Monday morning. Biden leads from behind so that is not a surprise. He is always playing catch up, no matter the circumstance. Trump wanted to have some fun with a campaign video. Joe Biden lamely trolled the leader in the presidential race.

Later on Monday, Biden posted another sun-related tweet. You can't make this stuff up.

Hey, you know who would be excited to see the sun? The American and Israeli hostages who are being held in Gaza. A mention of them now and then would be nice. 

The total solar eclipse received wall-to-wall cable news coverage and was given a days-long hype before the big day arrived. That didn't stop MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace from giving the eclipse a few seconds and then launching into a story on Trump while opening her show. She put the eclipse deeper into her show. Nothing stops Trump Derangement Syndrome, not even a total solar eclipse. Wallace is a former Republican who made her living off Republican candidates. Then Trump broke her and she went to the dark side - MSNBC.

If the presidential election in November turns out as it looks right now, it's going to be 2016 all over again on progressive cable news channels. The exploding heads and tears are going to be spectacular.
