Here we go again. A second woman has come forward to accuse Republican candidate Herschel Walker of demanding she get an abortion and he paid for it. The football legend turned U.S. Senate candidate is running on a staunchly pro-life platform and pro-family, despite what we now know is his checkered past. With less than two weeks before election day, the timing of this new allegation likely falls into the category of a late October surprise from his opponent, the Democrat incumbent, Senator Raphael Warnock.

This new allegation also has the added twist of Hollywood celebrity attorney Gloria Allred acting as the woman’s lawyer. Allred always brings media attention to her cases. A virtual press conference was held on Wednesday. The woman remains unnamed to protect her identity and is referred to as Jane Doe. She claims that in the spring of 1993, Herschel Walker drove her to an abortion clinic when she learned she was pregnant. “After discussing the pregnancy with Herschel several times, he encouraged me to have an abortion and gave me the money to do so.”

The woman described a six-year relationship with Walker while he was still married and playing in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings.

She said that she tried to get an abortion herself, but couldn’t go through with it. The next day, the woman said, Walker took her to a Dallas-area clinic and waited for her while she got the procedure.

Like the first woman who accused Walker of demanding she get an abortion and paid for it, the second woman apparently has receipts to back up her claim. Allred produced a hotel receipt, handwritten cards allegedly from Walker, a photo, and a recording of him as proof of their relationship. She calls Walker a hypocrite. She also claims that coming forward now just days before the mid-term election is not politically motivated. She said she voted for Trump twice and she is a registered independent. “I do not believe Herschel is morally fit to be a U.S. senator.”

Walker, on the campaign trail Wednesday with Senator Lindsey Graham, brushed off the new allegation and said he is “done with this foolishness.” “This is all a lie, and I will not entertain any of it,’ Walker told reporters. Graham went on to compare this to the Kavanaugh hearings in 2018.

“Kavanaugh didn’t back down. He’s on the court. Herschel ain’t backing down. The people of Georgia have your back, Herschel. And you know how this movie ends? Herschel Walker’s going to the United States Senate!” Graham exclaimed.

We have seen this movie before. Democrats were certain that the first accuser would tank Walker’s chances in the race against Warnock. That didn’t happen. In fact, this race is closer than ever and is officially a toss-up. Early voting has already begun. More than one million people have already made up their minds and cast their votes. Early voting is shattering records in Georgia despite Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and other hideous Democrats declaring that Georgia’s election integrity reforms were ushering in Jim Crow 2.0. Joe Biden wouldn’t recognize the truth if it smacked him in the face.

Warnock released a statement saying the accusation is the “latest example of a troubling pattern.” He may want to sit this one out. That’s the thing with this race. Both candidates are flawed in their relationships with women. Warnock’s ex-wife cut a video the Walker campaign ran explaining how he ran over her with his car, for heaven’s sake. There are domestic violence charges against Warnock during their marriage and he fought her for custody of their children. It’s all a mess. Don’t forget this man is a well-compensated preacher at Ebenezer Baptist Church. He probably shouldn’t be weighing in on the morality of his political opponent. Glass houses and all.

There is not much else being reported yet. Walker calls it a “flat-out lie” and did so again on Special Report Wednesday in an interview with Bret Baier. He insisted more than once that her accusation is a lie and he’s moving on to issues that voters are concerned about, like crime and inflation.

For her part, the woman sounds like many women who have affairs with married men.

She said she was “naive” and accused Walker of taking advantage of her.

“I spent years of my life devoted solely to Herschel and gave up other opportunities to be with him,” she said. “He took advantage of my love for him, and he made false promises to me, always giving me the impression that he was on the cusp of leaving his wife but never following through.”

We’ll know soon enough if this October surprise makes a difference in support for Walker by voters. At this point, I think people have made up their minds and any morality concerns are baked into the equation already. As I said, neither candidate should be pointing fingers at the other. The difference between the candidates on abortion, though, is Walker may have acted differently in the past but now is strongly pro-life and doesn’t support abortion. Raphael Warnock supports abortions up until the time of birth and wants taxpayers to pay for it. That’s a stark difference.

This election can determine the majority in the Senate. Republicans and Independents need to unite and vote out Warnock, as he votes 100% for Biden’s agenda. It’s time to pull the country back from the abyss.
