Ted Cruz releases video of Biden staffer attempting to stop filming inside detention center

Senator Cruz released video evidence of an attempt made by a Biden staffer to interfere with his filming video of what the inside of a detention center for unaccompanied minors looks like in Texas. The incident happened during a visit Friday to the facility in Donna, Texas. Cruz and Senator Cornyn led a delegation of 16 other senators to the border to see with their own eyes the crisis that the Biden administration refuses to acknowledge as anything but “a challenge’.

You can hear Cruz’s reaction to her trying to block his video as she demands over and over that he “respect the rules” and not film the inside of the facility.

She must be a new hire. Didn’t someone warn her that Cruz would be the most likely to question her interference and then release a video?

Remember during his first press conference when Joe Biden said he’d approve of transparency on the border when everything is in place? It looks like the Biden administration is still winging it and overcrowding children into holding facilities. You can see in Cruz’s video that they are still on concrete floors and using foil blankets. It isn’t a pretty sight, that’s for sure.

Rep. Henry Cuellar, a Democrat from Texas, also released photos of overcrowding at a holding facility on Sunday. During an appearance on Face the Nation, he spoke of what he sees at the border. He also released the first pictures seen from inside a detention facility last week. Cuellar has been sounding the alarm about the growing crisis and chaos since Biden took office.

Cuellar reports that some of the illegal migrants are being moved around but it is impossible to eliminate the overcrowding. The number of migrants that must be processed since they are not being turned away is a situation that the personnel on the border cannot handle.

The shots show dozens of children packed into glass-walled rooms, lying shoulder-to-shoulder on thin mattresses, many covered with foil blankets amid the escalating crisis.

Others showed hundreds of girls packed together, with Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) saying they have been held for “far longer” than the legal 72-hour limit.

Cuellar said 500 girls were moved from the Border Patrol facility to a Health and Human Services facility in San Diego, but the other 200 are among over 5,000 individuals, 65 percent of whom are unaccompanied children, waiting to be processed at the border.

The numbers being released by border patrol in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) of arrests of criminal aliens are not good. Among those arrested are murderers, gang members, and sex offenders.

Today Cruz will tour the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas that is housing an overflow of unaccompanied minors, mostly teenage boys. In a letter to Biden released Sunday, Cruz urged him “to stop denying reality, confront the consequences of your policies, and allow the media access to these facilities.” Biden promised to have the most transparent administration ever, after all. It’s only fair that he is held accountable for freezing out the press now.

Cruz noted that after four years of constant criticism of the Trump administration’s handling of the border and the charges of kids in cages, the Biden administration is scrambling to open up even more facilities in order to manage his self-inflicted crisis. Cruz said Biden’s cages are bigger and fuller than Trump’s were.

Neither Biden nor Kamala Harris has been to the border since entering the White House. The crisis is not likely to change any time soon. Biden and Harris are busy blaming the former administration for their troubles now. Biden is not able to admit his mistakes and reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy and return unaccompanied minors, along with families who cross the border illegally. Biden wants to go back to sending money to Central American countries in hopes of easing the stream of migrants flocking to the U.S.-Mexico border, as past administrations did before Trump took office. Trump’s policies were bearing success where previous administrations did not. Biden has to acknowledge the problem before he can begin to fix it. That takes political courage and Biden is fresh out of that.
