Daily Mail: Tony Bobulinski has shared more documents with congress

I’m sure the timing of this story a couple days before the election isn’t an accident just two days before the election (it was published Sunday). Still, Tony Bobulinski who has previously turned over a lot of text messages and recordings that have already been made public, apparently has turned over a lot more that hasn’t been seen yet. The Daily Mail got a preview of some of it recently.

Bobulinski’s evidence includes audio recordings of phone calls and meetings between partners in the Biden family’s multi-million-dollar deal with Chinese oil giant CEFC, WhatsApp and WeChat text messages, emails, contracts, corporation filings and other documents…

Among the new material obtained by DailyMail.com is a group chat between Bobulinski, CEFC executive director Zang Jianjun, and interpreter Henry Zhao on the Chinese messaging app WeChat.

‘Hi Tony, in the group are Director, you and me. He just asked me to convey several points,’ Zhao wrote. ‘1. His best regards to you, Biden family and our other friends!’…

In another previously-unseen text message, Hunter invited Bobulinski to meet Joe Biden at the Milken Institute in Los Angeles in May 2017, just as the Bidens’ Chinese deal was heating up.

‘My Dad’s speaking Wednesday morning at Milken. You should come meet him if you can,’ the First Son wrote on May 1 2017. ‘OK sounds good,’ his business partner replied.

The text is further proof of Bobulinski’s claims that he met with the former Vice President and discussed his Chinese business dealings – something Joe has repeatedly denied.

The story goes on to repeat several messages that were made public two years ago, such as the one in which James Gillar reminded Bobulinski, “Don’t mention Joe being involved, it’s only when u are face to face, I know u know that but they are paranoid.”

The idea behind this leak seems to be that if the GOP takes control of congress Tuesday, an investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings would become a front-burner issue. Bobulinski himself says he’s ready to testify about what he knows.

But don’t forget what Ed pointed out when Bobulinski first appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show: Biden was a private citizen in 2017, not Vice President. So meeting with his son’s business partners while he was no longer in office isn’t going to be any kind of official misconduct in office. In 2017, most people probably though Biden’s career in politics was over.

That doesn’t mean that Hunter Biden is off the hook though. He is still potentially facing charges on tax and firearm crimes. And it’s still possible more evidence could turn up that he involved himself in Hunter’s business dealings while he was still in office. In any case, the GOP is promising to look.

House Republicans are in active discussions to immediately hit the ground running if they take power on Tuesday and target what has become one of their top priorities: Investigating President Joe Biden’s son.

On November 9 – the day after the midterm elections – Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, who is likely in line to chair the House Oversight Committee, told CNN he is going to resend a letter to the Treasury Department demanding the agency fork over any suspicious bank activity reports linked to Hunter Biden. A previous request was rebuffed, but Comer said the department may be more inclined to cooperate when it becomes clear Republicans are going to be in charge of the House, meaning the GOP will have newfound subpoena power.

“We’re going to lay out what we have thus far on Hunter Biden, and the crimes we believe he has committed,” Comer told CNN. “And then we’re going to be very clear and say what we are investigating, and who we’re gonna ask to meet with us for transcribed interviews. And we’re going to show different areas that we’re looking into.”…

Republicans have already sent over 500 preservation letter requests to the Biden administration, while leadership has been hosting briefings and classes for GOP staffers on how to best use the oversight tools that could be at their disposal.

The White House, too, has been staffing up and preparing for an onslaught of probes and potential impeachment proceedings into the administration.

It’s going to be a very different environment for the Biden White House after Tuesday.
