As Karen pointed out this morning, this protest march to Justice Alito’s home has been planned for at least several days days. The protesters gathered at a Walgreens in Virginia as the sun was going down. Douglas Blair and Virginia Allen from the Daily Signal were on hand to record what was happening.
The protest is growing larger. Probably about 50 people or so here. pic.twitter.com/7kKJM5CgtI

A few minutes later the organizer started addressing the small crowd.

Protest coordinator is laying out their plan: Chant, march to Alito’s home, chant some more, listen to a few speakers, call it a night. Stay tuned. pic.twitter.com/igVloa2C5u

They practiced some chanting.

More practice as the march begins.

“We are not your incubators!”

Another chant.

A few people in black bloc which does not bode well for keeping things legal. People who are covering their entire faces are doing so to avoid being identified.

A variation on the earlier chant.

Now they are almost to Justice Alito’s house.

There’s some doubt that the Justice is at home.

Going back to Karen’s post this morning there were rumors cited by Breitbart that Justice Alito had left home for safety. However, Politico tried to track down those rumors and didn’t get any clear evidence they were true.
The reports seem to be fueled by comments from conservative lawyer and author Ilya Shapiro, who said on a Saturday Fox News program that he “heard that Justice Alito has been taken to an undisclosed location with his family.”
Shapiro told POLITICO Monday that he was unsure whether that was, in fact, true. “I don’t have any non-public sources,” he said. “I forget whether I saw the rumor on Twitter or somebody told me. I don’t know.”…
However: One attendee at a legal conference in Nashville that Alito was scheduled to speak at live said the justice instead delivered a video message. Alito’s address was short and shot in amateurish fashion in front of a white wall, which could suggest there was an abrupt change in Alito’s plans.
So the rumors don’t seem to have a source and no one seems to know for sure if he’s home or not. There don’t seem to be a lot of police on hand.

Blair says he’s hearing the Justice is not home. In any case the speechifying has started.

Pro-abortion activist has a message for “Bible thumpers” and says the Bible states that life begins at birth. Wonder what she thinks about Jer. 1:5? “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” pic.twitter.com/mRzXppq85B

“Abort the court!”

The next speaker is apparently talking about trans rights.

And now it seems the speeches are done and we’re back to chanting.

And with that they are leaving.

“No violence, just lots of profanity.”

— Virginia Allen (@Virginia_Allen5) May 10, 2022
Why is he a coward, exactly? Because he didn’t stay home to see if this group would get violent? Frankly, if he had been there they would probably have been louder and stuck around longer. They were protesting an empty house it appears which is why they weren’t so worked up.
