As we have seen, both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been pretty much "all trans rights all the time" since arriving at the White House. Between obscene changes to Title IX, shoving the idea down the throat of the military, and sweeping DEI hiring policies under this administration, it's been a regular transgender circus for the past several years. But that's not how Kamala Harris has always felt. Back when she was the Attorney General for California, even that state's liberal policies did not allow for taxpayer-funded sex change surgery for male prisoners so they could transfer to women's prisons. As recently as 2019, her office was still denying such requests for surgery. But she later went on to claim that she had been privately "working behind the scenes" to secure those types of surgeries for male prisoners. Now, of course, both she and Joe are out in the open about it and they're supporting the idea wholeheartedly. And they want you to pick up the tab for it. (Daily Caller)

Vice President Kamala Harris previously said she worked “behind the scenes” during her term as California attorney general to secure sex change surgeries for California inmates despite the fact that it was against state policy at the time.

Harris bragged about circumventing the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation to ensure that transgender inmates were given access to medical services, including sex-change surgeries, despite denying a surgery request to an inmate in April of 2015, according to the Washington Blade. When asked about her track record during her failed 2020 presidential primary campaign, Harris implied that she sometimes had to do things against her personal beliefs, but insisted that she worked “behind the scenes” to ensure that transgender inmates.

In January of 2019, Harris was facing criticism for her anti-LGBTQ track record as California attorney general when her office denied sex-change surgery for inmates, according to the Blade.

We've covered this subject more than enough times revealing what a problem this has been in California. The "demand" for sex-change surgeries in the state (almost exclusively for males, of course) has been rising steeply since Gavin Newsom signed a law allowing for the procedures for prisoners. In 2020 there were 99 such requests. It is currently estimated that the state will process more than 460 this year. 

There are still male prisoners who claim to be "transitioning" and are transferred to a women's prison without even having the surgery. They claim to be women, but they must disproportionately be lesbians because most of them wind up having sex with or simply sexually assaulting actual female inmates. If and when they do decide to get the surgery, those procedures are very expensive and most health insurance carriers won't cover the cost. So the taxpayers wind up footing the bill.

On a vaguely related note, while she was still in the Senate, Kamala Harris cosponsored a bill that would require schools to allow boys on the girls' sports teams if they "identify" as females. (You can read the details of "the Equality Act" here.) We've already seen the massive problems caused by such gender-bending, particularly when it comes to contact sports. All of this flies squarely in the face of basic scientific and medical reality. But the world has been going mad lately, and Kamala Harris is more than happy to hop on the crazy train and go along for the ride.

From destroying women's sports to stuffing men into women's prisons, there apparently hasn't been an idea pitched that was bad enough for Kamala Harris to balk at it. But Kamala Harris and Joe Biden aren't satisfied with offering people the "choice" to follow the path of transgenderism. They want to force everyone else to go along with the idea, speaking the same language and tolerating all manner of offenses. And they want the taxpayers to foot the bill for everything. Follow Nancy Reagan's advice and "just say no" to Kamala Harris.
