This week on Politinerds we air an interview we conducted before the holidays with Karen England, spokesperson for Privacy for All in California. Their group was attempting to get an initiative on the ballot out on the left coast which would have prevented the state from forcing people to share public bathrooms, locker rooms and other facilities with people of the opposite gender in the name of political correctness. In particular, they were concerned with women going into a public ladies room and encountering a man claiming to be a woman. Unfortunately, their effort fell short of the number of signatures required to get on the ballot but they have more actions planned in the future.
Karen covers the whole spectrum of privacy issues regarding the “transgender” question and similar efforts around the nation. It’s a wide ranging conversation and one you won’t want to miss.
