Classic academic deflection:
Oh, alas! I am CONFLICTED!
Ed is being too nice. I, in fact, do not know who I am.
Might need a straitjacket for a couple of us rather than a lab coat .... NOT SAYING WHO, of course, but David knows who he is.
Here's an idea for the 2028 Hot Air Election Night live blog, Ed. Just sayin'.

Marc Elias has reportedly received a DOJ target letter in the criminal probe of the decoy “Dan Sullivan” on Alaska’s Senate ballot. So has the DSCC. A target letter is not an indictment. Elias gets the presumption of innocence — something the Lawfare crowd never extended to me. But notice the difference. Arguing in court that an election was flawed is advocacy. The First Amendment protects it. What’s alleged here is something else: recruiting a retired teacher named Daniel J. Sullivan to sit on the ballot next to Sen. Dan S. Sullivan, so voters pick the wrong one. That’s not advocacy. It’s deception aimed at the voters themselves. And it isn’t just Republicans saying so. The New York Times reported that texts and documents tie the effort to the DSCC and its top law firm. Alaskans are voting today with both names on the ballot. Last week I said a fairly picked grand jury should hear this. We’re one step closer. Advocacy is protected. Fraud on voters is not. And here's the apex point -- Elias didn't just, it seems, participate in picking the fake Dan Sullivan, he then entered as if he was an uninvolved legal advocate, riding both sides of the sapling. Hypocrisy and deception.

Brisket sandwiches and salads for us tonight. The brisket was from our Knights of Columbus fundraiser. I've had cuts vacuum-frozen for a few weeks, so we get to stretch that out a while. Deeeee-lish.

Don't get my wife started!!
Is that anything like Marcia, Marcia, Marcia?
If you can't think of a timely barb, DAVID, DAVID, DAVID holds your place in line.
Definitely worth watching – and I won the internal battle over Cam's live blogging at the Townhall empire! Great to have you with us, my friend. Don't forget to insult David at least once tonight.
My thanks to Ed for letting me sit at the cool kids table tonight. So far my beverage of choice is Coke Zero, but that will probably change as the election results come in.
I'm watching (and living in) VA-05, where Republican John McGuire won by about 13 points two years ago. He's facing Democrat Tom Perriello, who was the last D to win the district. This one could be a good barometer to see how much of a swing from 2024 we're going to see in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Hey, don't let anything happen for 15 minutes. I just served dinner.
Italian sausage, gnocchi, and spinach soup in a creamy soup base.
Oh, ARGH. I can't stand this backstabbing chica but this would be bad for the numbers.
DAMN I wish Trump had let somebody primary her Brutus butt.

As of 5p.m. ET: Voters narrowly say that the Democratic Party is better able to handle the economy than the Republican Party, by a 5-point margin, according to early results from an NBC News Exit Poll. https://t.co/DysOj3Cmj1 https://t.co/RJZqDs5uvL

Two caveats:
- Polls. Come on, man.
- Dems probably should have a much wider gap at this point on the economy, and they still trail on immigration.

Man, the comments sections on both the Live Blog and the Election page are getting really lively! Great to have our VIP members on board.
Don't forget - we've still got a half hour of voting left here in the Redneck Riviera aka the Florida Panhandle.
Ashhley's going to wipe the floor with Ashley.
Oh, dear this is a hoot. Ritzy Westchester County in New York is having Maricopa County issues. The only problem is, HELLO!
They're a BLUE BLUE BLUE county.

Regardless of tonight’s election results, the fight to preserve and save America from the radical Democrat socialists is more important than ever. The Left is only going to double down on their insane policies that will destroy America.

Dang it, DDHQ has called Georgia for Jon Ossoff. That's not a surprise, although we'd hoped that Collins might do better down the stretch. Only 11% of the vote is in, but DDHQ is very sharp on their calls.
Okay, this is so stupid. Who compares Trump voters to what a current candidate is getting? No individual will ever get what Trump got. That's such a depressing and ridiculous metric.
