“I hope she survives,” Dershowitz said in an interview with Steve Malzberg. “I’ve met her on a dozen — you know, 7, 8, 9 occasions in my life, mostly with my wife, and I have no reason to believe that she did anything wrong. I never saw her do anything wrong. I would be happy to appear as a witness on her behalf. But no one should presume anybody guilty, certainly not on the basis of Virginia Giuffre’s testimony.”

“If the government hasn’t used her testimony and her evidence, why is the media going with it?” Dershowitz asked. “The media is deeply at fault here.”
