The left hates President Trump. They loathe all who support him. They view those in his administration as criminal accomplices in the destruction of “our democracy.”
Consequently, administration officials are portrayed as pawns to be turned into fascistic caricatures to be played against this dangerously unhinged president to slow and ultimately stem his corrosive reign until he is removed from power, and they can all be prosecuted for their crimes against democracy and humanity. Or something….
Hence, this is a cautionary tale of how playing with the bonfire of Vanity Fair—or any leftist magazine (redundant, I know)—will get Republican fingers burned.
