State Officials Tell Californians to Stop Grilling Outdoors Over Air Quality Concerns

The State of California ratcheted up its nanny-statism another degree, by asking Californians to stop outdoor grilling because of air quality concerns.


South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) issued an air quality alert on Sunday for parts of Riverside County as several wildfires raged on.

Smoke from the Eagle Fire that started Sunday and blazed through 1,710 acres added Ozone pollutants to the air creating unhealthy conditions.

AQMD urged California residents to stay indoors, avoid physical activity and stray from adding to the air pollution by lighting other fires.

‘Avoid burning wood in your fireplace or firepit and minimize sources of indoor air pollution such as candles, incense, pan-frying, and grilling,’ Newsweek reported the alert said...
