Let's Talk Homeschooling

Is it right for you, your family, or someone you know?

That’s not for me to say.

I will say that it’s not the hassle I feared it would be, especially as my daughter has gotten older and moved toward being a bit more self-directed. Yet my situation isn’t anyone else’s. Only the person in question knows what’s right for them or their family.

What I will say is that we’re living in a world where even private schools are pushing a political value system that’s on the extreme left with some teachers openly admitting—bragging, if we’re being honest—that they’re indoctrinating our children.

I'd call it a self-defense against the intentional attack on the family. Not every parent can do this, though, which is the reason why school choice and follow-the-student funding policies are so important. Parents should not be forced to choose between indoctrination in public schools and poverty at home. Be sure to read it all.
