Comer, a Kentucky Republican, wants House members to start the process by drafting a contempt resolution and has scheduled the “markup” process on the measure for Thursday.

Comer’s office said that Oversight committee and House Judiciary Committee issued subpoenas to  Garland on Feb. 27 –to which he has not responded – “for records, including transcripts, notes, video, and audio files, related to Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation of President Joe Biden’s willful mishandling of classified information.”
