Who thought this was a good idea? Nothing says 'man of the people' like showing Biden asking for advice from wealthy and elite Hollywood celebrities. And not even asking advice based on actual expertise, but from their presidential "experience" of play-acting the role. 

Why not go out and do this with voters, especially in communities Biden really needs to reach?

And finally, this makes clear that the SOTU is nothing more than a PR/campaign platform for the vanity of the president.
