Canadian College 'Dominates' Women's Volleyball Fielding Five Men

Outrage sparked in Toronto after a collegiate women's volleyball match featured five biological men participating in the action. The match between Seneca College and Centennial College on Jan. 24 featured five men, three for Seneca and two for Centennial.

As expected, the men ‘overwhelmed’ their female competitors. With their biological advantage, all five of the trans athletes stayed in for the entire duration of the volleyball match.

The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association has reportedly allowed this imbalance in their women's athletics to happen. One major concern around the inclusion of trans athletes in women's sports is the accompanying injuries that transpire from pitting one athlete against a physically superior athlete.

Women have suffered serious repercussions from competing against trans athletes in volleyball. Last year, one story out of California involved a girl suffering a concussion after absorbing a spiked ball from a trans player. The trans player later used the play in his highlight reel.
