Biden Sinks Below 40% in Reuters/Ipsos Poll

Biden earned a 39% approval rating in the latest Reuters/Ipsos survey, marking a modest decline from the 40% he earned in October. Driving that figure, in part, are heightened voter concerns about the economy, crime, and foreign wars, all issues on which Biden has typically earned low marks.

Twenty percent of respondents listed the economy as their top concern, while 9% picked crime, 8% said foreign conflicts, and 7% said the environment.

[Notable mainly because the Reuters/Ipsos poll has tended to be more sympathetic to Biden and the Dems. It’s not that far off from the current RCP average of 40.7/55.5, but it’ going the wrong direction. — Ed]
