[That’s five worse than the first ballot and three worse than the second. Jordan’s going backwards, which means he’s going nowhere. Time to go back to the drawing board and find someone less divisive in the caucus. Perhaps they should ask Debbie Lesko to run for Speaker, since she’s already announced that she will retire at the end of this term. That would allow for this session of Congress to operate normally, and Republicans can rethink their leadership team after the next election. — Ed]
