Billionaire Bill Gates appeared to backtrack on some of his previous statements about climate change during a recent event.

“There’s a lot of climate exaggeration,” said Gates.

“The climate is not the end of the planet. So the planet is going to be fine.”

Bill Gates made the remarks on climate change at the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit.

Days later, he made a similar remark at a New York Times event, saying, there are effects on humanity, the planet less so,” and “no temperate country is going to become uninhabitable.”
