Biden Slammed For ‘Racist’ Remark About ‘African American And Hispanic Workers’

President Joe Biden faced backlash online Thursday afternoon after a video of him went viral saying that the “workers without high school diplomas” in the U.S. are “African American and Hispanic workers.”

Biden made the remarks during a speech at Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland, while discussing “Bidenomics.”

“We’ve created 13.4 million new jobs,” Biden claimed. “We not only recovered all the jobs we lost during the pandemic, we’ve added millions more.”

“We’ve seen record lows in unemployment, particularly — and I’ve focused on this my whole career — particularly for African Americans and Hispanic workers and veterans, you know, the workers without high-school diplomas,” he continued. “The lowest unemployment rate in 70 years for women now.”

*** As I responded yesterday when I saw that quote – yikes! The president is a racist and every now and then, that fact comes out. This assumes that black an Hispanic Americans are not educated. It is an example of the soft bigotry of low expectations. – Karen
