Rich has good reason to be suspicious of the article in question. Last month, Rolling Stone savaged both “Sound of Freedom” and the people who flocked to theaters to see it.
[Rolling Stone should stick to rock music. It has no credibility on anything else, and not just because of their glamor-boy treatment of Tsarnaev. Their flat-out lies about the University of Virginia demolished any trust or respect they had as a news organization. I cannot imagine that too many country-music listeners say to themselves, “I really need Rolling Stone to learn more about the performers I enjoy. — Ed]
