"Straight-up election interference"

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who was appointed by Barack Obama, set a trial date for former President Trump’s alleged “election interference” case for March 4th, one day before Super Tuesday.

NBC News reports that the case, which “could have a crucial impact on the 2024 race for the White House,” will now find itself being litigated “in the middle of the Republican presidential primaries.”

Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation of President Trump led to an indictment on charges related to 2020 election interference and the Capitol riot.
