Ocasio-Cortez told The New York Times that “Musk taking over Twitter [now X] has dramatically changed the media environment.”
Asked by the Times is she would leave X, on which she has 13.2 million followers, AOC said, “This is a conversation that I’ve had.”
“If one monitors my use of that platform, it has fallen precipitously,” she said. “I think what would constitute a formal break is something that we actively discuss — whether it would require an event or if it’s just something that may one day happen.”
[Remember when AOC quit Twitter in February 2022 over negative comments? That didn’t even last 24 hours. Three months later, AOC told media that she wanted to dump her Tesla over Elon Musk’s ownership and direction at Twitter. AOC looooves to play the victim, but she’s far too narcissistic to give up her connection to 13 million users. — Ed]
