[Sounds like great news to me. Diversity “officers” were always about virtue signaling to activist shareholders at the expense of both the bottom line and the customer. Human-resource professionals can handle diversity in hiring, and everything else is simply nonsense. The pandemic belt-tightening, as well as consumer backlash to ridiculous diversity campaigns, made this class of executives an easily removable appendix. — Ed]
