Grassley published in full the lightly redacted FD-1023 form, the contents of which several congressional Republicans have seen but that the public has not. …
“The American people can now read this document for themselves, without the filter of politicians or bureaucrats, thanks to brave and heroic whistleblowers,” said Grassley, who acquired the document via legally protected disclosures by Justice Department whistleblowers.
[It doesn’t take long to read through this. Previous reporting has covered the main points; there is considerably more detail to them in the FD-1023. One point made by the informant (confidential human source, “CHS” in the report) is that Russian and Ukrainian businessmen tended to exaggerate their connections, cautioning the FBI to take some of this with a grain of salt. One amusing point: Zlochevsky told the CHS that Hunter Biden “was stupid, and his dog was smarter.” That sounds pretty authentic. — Ed. UPDATE: David will have more on this shortly.]
