Manhattan case against Trump "adjourned"

On the heels of former President Donald Trump’s arraignment on federal charges related to his handling of classified documents on Tuesday in Miami, Letitia James, New York’s attorney general, announced an update on the case filed against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Speaking to MSNBC’s Alex Wagneron on a panel at the Tribeca Film Festival, James said that the federal case will take precedence over both Bragg’s case, a case she has filed against The Trump Organization, and a potential case in Fulton County, Ga.

“In all likelihood, I believe that my case, as well as DA Bragg and the Georgia case, will, unfortunately, have to be adjourned pending the outcome of the federal case,” James said.
