A former staffer for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has taken a senior position for a political organization whose policy positions and manifesto are 180 degrees opposite of America’s founding principles.

According to the New York Post, Justine Medina, an ex-aide for the New York self-described democratic socialist, was employed as a political organizer in 2020 between February and November but is now a senior official for the New York Communist Party.

According to the Federal Elections Commission, Medina was paid a salary of more than $35,000 by AOC.
