27th state to pass permitless carry is Nebraska

Nebraska will become the 27th state to allow “Constitutional Carry” once LB 77 is signed by the governor and it becomes law in September.

The measure passed by lawmakers Wednesday allows anyone 21 and older, who can legally own a gun, to carry a concealed weapon without having paying a permit or going through training.

But some gun rights advocates are cautioning firearm owners with this “right” comes “responsibilities.”
