Psaki slammed by reporters over anonymous White House briefings

The criticism of President Biden’s chief spokeswoman came after Friday’s press briefing, where Fox News White House reporter Peter Doocy asked Psaki about a Politico report published last week alleging an “abusive” work environment in Vice President Kamala Harris’ office, citing nearly two dozen staffers.

In response, Psaki replied that she tried “not to speak to or engage on anonymous reports or anonymous sources.”

That reply initially faced criticism from Bloomberg News senior White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs, who tweeted video of the exchange alongside Psaki’s quote before noting how her “team regularly organizes anonymous briefings on topics in the news.”
