“Has your confidence in Dr. Fauci gone up or down in the past year?” survey participants were asked. Nearly 1 in 3 responded that their confidence in America's leading infectious disease expert had “decreased significantly," and 12.1% said it "decreased."
That figure jumped to a whopping 66.1% among Republicans, who said they are now less confident in the 80-year-old medical expert than they were last year.
