Dershowitz fired back by calling out Painter and saying, “Let me talk about your reputation. Painter is trying to… parlay his anti-Trump zealotry into a run for the Senate. He has lied repeatedly about me and other people who are Trump supporters.”

Painter said he’s never lied about Dershowitz and again called him out for lying about Mueller and “assaulting” his reputation.”

At one point he called Mueller a good American, to which Dershowitz responded, “He may be, but you’re not, sir. You’re a liar and you’ve lied repeatedly about my background, about my expertise. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.”
