The North Carolina Hogg wrote an opinion piece this week for The Wall Street Journal titled “I’m David Hogg, and I Support Gun Rights.”

After getting tired of being bullied across social media, as was his mother, Hogg wrote: “I decided it was time to tell my story and where I stand on the subject, even though this isn’t my fight.”

Although he empathizes with the Parkland students and appreciates their use of their First Amendment right, he said gun rights are important, too. This Hogg’s solution is not gun control, but instead mandatory gun education and armed security officers in schools.
