Robert Gibbs, Jay Carney and Josh Earnest, the three press secretaries who served under former President Obama, were all hired by news networks after leaving the White House. Gibbs and Earnest went to MSNBC, while Carney signed with CNN.
Dana Perino, who worked for President George W. Bush, was signed by Fox News and serves as co-host of “The Five.”
Ari Fleischer, who served as press secretary under Bush from 2001 to 2003, joined CNN as a contributor years later, from 2011 to 2013. He recently signed with Fox News this summer.
