The Trump approach, on the other hand, presents obvious questions about the role Trump’s children would have if he were elected president. A family commercial conglomerate has never been elevated to the presidency before. Nobody knows how the Trump family would function in the White House. But you can bet it would be something different and it would set new boundaries. If the presidency becomes a family enterprise, how would power be allocated? How would access be granted? Would they even pretend there is a wall between the White House and the family business?
It’s fair to assume the Trump campaign is indicative of how the Trump family might conduct themselves if Trump wins. But as best I can tell, there isn’t really a Trump campaign. There is a traveling family roadshow and a Twitter account. Is this an indication of what is to come if Trump, Inc. comes to the White House?
