“Seth, pretty much as you’d expect. You know, he is – he’s a big personality,” Clinton said.

Clinton, whom Trump invited to his third wedding in Florida in 2005, said that she “never heard the kinds of things he was saying now come out of his mouth” in her limited interactions with him. Trump donated several times to Clinton’s Senate campaigns and family foundation, explaining it in terms of his dealings as a businessman.

“I never heard the really insulting language about so many different kinds of people. I never heard the kind of demagoguery and derogatory comments,” she explained. “I wasn’t around him that much but I never heard that. And so I can only conclude that, you know, he thinks this is what gets him the votes.”
