Sean Penn opened himself up to legal problems with his El Chapo interview

Penn indicated that El Chapo told him which companies accept illicit investment funds (suggesting El Chapo may have worked with them.) From the article, “He cites (but asks me not to name in print) a host of corrupt major corporations, both within Mexico and abroad.” The Feds will definitely want Penn to name names on that.

Penn was not blindfolded when he was taken to the area where El Chapo was hiding out. He has a pretty good account of the security used to protect El Chapo and the others.

And then, of course, this admission by El Chapo to Penn: “I supply more heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana than anybody else in the world. I have a fleet of submarines, airplanes, trucks and boats.”
