Students were shocked to receive the email, but Horwitz says this class was uniquely terrible, and he reached his “breaking point.”

“This class is unique. I have never failed a class, it is very rare that I fail students, sometimes learning incorporates tough love,” says Horwitz.

The school says Horwitz will not get his way and has assigned a new professor to take over his class for the rest of the semester.
