“I wish that he would contain himself, because he has put out no real alternative,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein said on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday — minutes after Netanyahu appeared on the show.

“I think that this kind of absolutist, ‘Well, no deal is better than a bad deal, but we don’t know what a good deal would be’ and ‘No, we have no suggestions’ is not very helpful, candidly,” said the California Democrat, who is vice chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Feinstein, who admitted that “it’s a better agreement … than I ever thought it was going to be,” held firm that the framework for the nuclear deal reached Thursday between Iran, the U.S. and five other world superpowers does not threaten the survival of Israel.
