Jersey guy hits Boca Raton

Christie arrived in Florida Tuesday evening and is scheduled to stay through Friday morning.

The trip gives him a chance to take one final victory lap this week after the recent Election Day successes for the GOP.

Christie is attending at least three private events today, according to his schedule, including two at the resort hosting the conference, the Boca Raton Resort and Club.

New Jersey’s governor will attend several other private events Thursday and Friday morning. Christie is slated to speak alongside newly-elected governors Thursday morning during a session entitled “The Comeback’s Next Chapter.”
