Geraldo: Put Taylor Swift in charge of the federal government

One can never tell if Fox News’s Geraldo Rivera is being serious, so it’s best to just take this as it is: He tweeted Thursday that singer Taylor Swift, in all her excellence, would be better at running the federal government than President Obama.

“Sensible, competent, talented and unbiased Taylor Swift could do a better job of running the national government than either [Senate Majority Leader Mitch] McConnell or Obama,” wrote Rivera in his curious tweet. (How does he know Swift is “unbiased” or “sensible”?)

Swift has been in the media a lot lately as she promotes her latest album and also wages war against Spotify by pulling all her material from the music-sharing service.
