Funny or Die posted pics of hysterical (and clearly fake) Weiner for Mayor flyers the comedy website says were posted throughout the city. (By “spotted around Manhattan” they likely mean posted around Manhattan by a Funny or Die staffer.)

They flyers are a play off of remarks made by Weiner’s Communications Director Barbara Morgan about an intern who quit the Weiner campaign and wrote an expose in the NY Daily News. The intern – Olivia Nuzzi – claims Weiner repeatedly called the female interns “Monica” (ala Monica Lewinsky). She also pointed out the campaign staff’s lack of high profile experience, including Morgan’s, suggesting they were unqualified to be running a NYC mayor campaign. Upon learning of Nuzzi’s piece, Morgan told Talking Points Memo that Nuzzi was a “f**king slutbag.” Morgan has since apologized for her remarks.
