Given that same-sex marriage and pot are the leading edge of this libertarian strain, we were intrigued by this map — which we found on the awesome Maps on the Web Tumblr – that look at which states condone some form of legalization of both.

Now, to be clear, this isn’t a map of every state where same sex marriage and pot are legal. Some are states where civil unions for gays and lesbians are recognized, some are states where pot has been decriminalized. But, the map does track the fact that states moving toward legalization –on both marriage and marijuana — still tend to be clumped on the coasts.
