House GOP to stall O-Care vote by demanding amendments

During an appearance on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” show, Sessions noted that members are allowed to go to the Rules panel to make the case for amendments on the House floor.

The Rules Committee is likely to reject most, if not all, GOP amendments. But the process of every House Republican member trying to make the case for various amendments, if allowed, would be time-consuming.

Sessions, who heads the National Republican Congressional Committee, noted that he thinks C-SPAN employees will be working overtime during the Rules Committee deliberations.
