Democrats and Resistance Media Fulfilling Isaiah 5:20 In Real Time

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

The Prophet Isaiah wrote those words somewhere between 740 BC and 656 BC, and those words have reverberated in both Judaism, and later in Christianity, ever since. That Old Testament verse has been used to describe what life would resemble in the last days, whenever God determines those last days are. It's hard to come to any other conclusion than the modern day progressive left, whether it be elected Democrats or members of the media bubble in Washington, D.C. or New York, have flipped the script on reality and modeled to what Isaiah was referring. To them, light is darkness, darkness is light, good is evil, evil is good. Everything is upside down.

As we all woke up Wednesday morning to yet another targeted left-wing attack, this time on ICE agents in Dallas, killing one detained illegal immigrant and critically injuring two others before the shooter took the coward's way out by killing himself, virtually the entirety of the progressive complex began to spin the narrative away from their own culpability.

For a long time, we have heard use the term stochastic terrorism to blame words said by conservatives for whatever violence ensues. It's an intellectually vapid phrase meant to blame asymmetric language as a pretense for violence, necessitating the silence of all political speech they dislike. The left fell in love with the expression, because it made them sound smart by using a fancy word without any coherence behind it.

Charles C.W. Cooke of National Review noted on X Wednesday that if anything good has come out of the recent shootings, it's that stochastic terrorism may be destined for the dustbin of bad rhetorical history.

But since the left created that standard of what incites violence, let's put it onto a mirror and reflect it back on them.

On MSNBC Wednesday morning, as details emerged in the press conference at the Dallas ICE facility, Rosa Flores claimed we don't know the motivation of the shooter, yet we sure do know how divisive ICE is.

Courtesy of Newsbusters, here is a 'This you?' montage of incendiary rhetoric on the same network in recent weeks.

Jasmine Crockett, a United States Representative from Texas, said ICE agents were modern day slave patrols. MSNBC host Ali Velshi nodded along.

If narrative spinning were compared to a game of Twister, the double-jointed winner would easily be Christopher O'Leary, who joined Ana Cabrera on MSNBC. Even seeing anti-ICE written on clips of ammo at the feet of the shooter, he found a way to blame it on right-wing white supremacists.

If one observes some of the early horse race polling in both parties for the 2028 presidential nominations,  the favorites are Vice-President J.D. Vance for the Republicans, and California Governor Gavin Newsom for the Democrats. At least that was the conventional wisdom until Wednesday morning. Now, I'm not so sure about Newsom.

Tuesday night, Newsom appeared on CBS' Late Show with Stephen Colbert. It went well if you're on the side of darkness and evil. If you're someone who is seeking more purpose out of life, Newsom was vile and repellent. Keep in mind, Newsom and his merry band of anti-Constitutionalists in Sacramento's legislature just passed a law demanding ICE agents unmask and show ID. It's still illegal to show ID to vote in California, but the Golden State now believes it can legislate to expose agents of the federal government out there enforcing U.S. law. Here's some of Newsom's lowlights.

Coarse, desperate, inflammatory, and increasingly unhinged. He is demanding the outing of ICE agents, for whom he sheds crocodile tears of compassion for because they're working for Trump, who he deems to be a tyrant. Nevertheless, despite his alleged compassion for the agents, he wants to paint a bigger bullseye on them. Contrast that with VP Vance, who was in Concord, New Hampshire Wednesday.

If the election were held today, I think Vance would crush Newsom. The country is going through a period of soul searching it hasn't conducted in generations. I was two-years-old when the country went through the turbulence of assassinations, bombings, and riots in the late 60s, so I have no personal experience if the period we're living through now is analogous. What I do know is that in the wake of those violent years of 1968 and 1969, the Jesus Revolution took place a year later, and a bunch of young people, many of them hippies, turned to God because the world was so unstable. It also resulted in a landslide reelection for Richard Nixon in 1972.

We are witnessing an even bigger revival now, in spite of decades of academia and social engineers on the left programming society to reject actual truth in pursuit of whatever truth feels right to each person. Why? People have seen evil break out in public multiple times of late, and it scares them. And when they see those people they thought they aligned with on social issues openly cheer on the evil, hoping for more, they aren't just turning the other direction, they're doing it at somewhat of a brisk pace.

Former Senator and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe, and she's horrified by what she's seeing. Not horrified by the evil, horrified that so many young people are considering traditional Christian moral values again.

We're way past basket of deplorables now. If her comments weren't so antithetical to Biblical truth, I'd say she embodies the prototypical Scooby Doo villain. We would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those pesky Turning Point USA kids.

Hillary does not want to turn the clock back. Straw man #1. No one's actually asking for that. Attempting to recreating a world that never was - one ruled by white, straight, Christian men, is causing enormous damage? Straw man #2. What was talked about at the funeral service was how to seek God's purpose in your life. There was no registration pop-up tent at State Farm Stadium in Glendale for white, straight, Christian men to measure their feet for jackboots.

We were doing so well by moving away from that traditional Christian stuff? That's just a lie. If we were doing so well, how come the Democrats got shellacked in seven out of seven swing states? If feminism was going so well, why are women athletes so up in arms getting medals taken away from them by men pretending to be women?

People voted against Democrats because on every issue Americans were concerned about, Democrats staked out the ground that made Americans less safe and less prosperous, and threatened to further dismantle the stability of families. In short, Americans voted for the political right, because they made the calculus that the country was on the wrong track because of Hillary's utopian ideals.

Erika Kirk didn't just put a face on the power of Christianity in the most powerful way possible by forgiving the assassin of her husband, Charlie, she also delivered a treatise on what Christ-centered manhood and womanhood should look like.

Erika's words are good. It's light spoken in the darkness. It's good because it edifies God's plan for humanity. There has never been in all of civilization a more stabilizing force for societal good than a family unit where a father who largely lives a Biblically moral life marries a Biblically moral woman and raises children up to glorify God.

Hillary Clinton is the woman who famously proclaimed her truth that it takes a village to raise a child. We've now seen who else populates a village. In too many instances, there are monsters residing in those villages with murderous intent in their hearts. And with the proliferation of social media, young people have the ability to connect with monsters just like them in villages all over the globe. The world has tried Hillary's way for several decades now, and it's precisely why nihilism has run so rampant.

Secretary Clinton also weighed in on the Jimmy Kimmel suspension, and naturally piled onto the left's false narrative that Kimmel was silenced, and that free speech was under assault by Donald Trump. This is rich coming from the person who begged Congress to pass a Constitutional amendment as an end run around the Supreme Court's decision on Citizens United. She literally wanted the country to pass an exception to free speech in the Constitution in order to squelch a movie that criticized her.

Even by early afternoon on Wednesday, after law enforcement knew the name, the voting record, and the background of the shooter of the Dallas ICE facility, MSNBC was still trying to craft an alternative narrative.

The good news is that even with all of the darkness passing as light with the political left in this country, and broadcast apparently wall-to-wall on MSNBC, the great revival underway across the globe continues to unfold. Before the Kirk memorial service on Sunday, Turning Point USA had around 60,000 inquiries interested in starting new chapters. After Sunday's service, that number had more than doubled.

In Blacksburg, Virginia, home of Virginia Tech, Turning Point held its first college outreach event since the assassination of Charlie Kirk at Burrus Hall. Picking up the baton left by Charlie at this stop was Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin and podcaster extraordinaire Megyn Kelly. The venue was packed.

Both speakers gave wonderful addresses, and in true Charlie Kirk fashion, took on all comers from the audience. Many other notable speakers have chipped in fill in at appearances at every stop of TPUSA's fall tour. The movement Charlie began is only going to grow larger.

Hundreds of millions of people around the world have seen all or part of the Kirk memorial, and it's only three days old. Within a month or two, that number of engagements is expected to get close to a billion. God is still doing an amazing work, even with a handful of noisy people on the left trying to tell you He's not, and attempting to deceive you that those trying to do God's work are actually the problem.

I am overjoyed daily to read posts on my X feed of people who have been following their own path their entire lives, but have now chosen to follow Christ. There are millions upon millions online and off who have done so in the last few weeks alone. It's impossible not to get excited about what is happening all around us. But then again, I like to live in the light. It makes it easier to rejoice.

As an example of Team Darkness, I bring you Matt Lewis.

Sure, some people might be saved, but Trump...

Dismissing the biggest revival of the electronic age going back to Ben Franklin trying to harness the power of electricity in a storm with a kite, minimizing the salvation of millions of souls by adding a comma and a but, followed with yet more exhausting hatred of the President and Vice-President, the former who called the nation back to prayer and to Church, and the latter who used his time hosting the most downloaded podcast in history, the first Charlie Kirk radio show after the assassination, to recite the Nicene Creed.

Last time I checked, good unabashedly and unreservedly speaks God's truth, boldly and fearlessly. Evil doesn't invite people into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Evil does, however, do everything in its power to mute, stunt, depress, discourage, lie, assassinate, and otherwise prevent people from seeking God.

Which side are you on? One day, you'll have to decide. And as with gender, there's only two choices.
